Carved Turquoise from the now closed Number 8 mine in Nevada. While the mine is no longer in operation there is still raw material on the market being cut, carved, and polished. The wire wrapping for this pendant follows the lines of the flower pattern carved into the stone. The wire work, done in copper, is oxidized to give it an antique look and comes on a 20 inch copper chain.
